About Anderson County, SC   

  Welcome! We are ideally located in the northwestern part of South Carolina, also known as the Upstate, on beautiful Lake Hartwell and in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  Our central location provides for quick and easy access to the Atlantic Coast, the Great Smokey Mountains, Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC.  The average temperature for the area is 62 degrees.  This mild year round climate compliments four distinct, highly enjoyable seasons.

Area Recreation

Lake Hartwell is a major attraction to the Anderson and Tri-County areas.  It is part of the Upstates’ Fresh Water Coast with its 962 miles of shoreline.  Lake Keowee has over 600 miles of shoreline and Lake Jocasee, located in the valleys of the Smokies, has over 300 miles of breathtaking shoreline and a multitude of waterfalls. Lakes Keowee and Jocasee are located in the Tri-County area which consists of Anderson, Oconee & Pickens counties. All three lakes offer many public recreational facilities including campgrounds, boat ramps and beaches.

Schools & Colleges

Anderson County schools offer a wide variety of programs such a special ed. classes,  gifted courses, computer training, foreign languages, music, sports and vocational programs.  The Anderson and Tri-County areas combined offer six colleges, including Clemson University and an additional 10 technical colleges.

You have been available to show us a home on a moments notice (Ashley Downs) to a home that took months to show (one of the Green Hill homes) to a foreclosure (Hobson Road) to a home that needed massive repair work (Newington Circle) and how can we forget the home with bedrooms painted black from floor to ceiling (Bowen Road) and many, many more. You have not been pushy or shown frustration with us no matter how long this process took. For this, we Thank You. As you have been aware we would stop our search for extended periods due to family issues, but throughout these periods, again, you patiently waited to hear from us.

There are so many things we like about the Cedar Pond home:

It's a beautiful home on a quiet cul-de-sac in a small neighborhood.

When you step into the Living Room you have an awesome view of the backyard and we do not back up to another house to spoil that view.

The Master Bedroom continues that view of the backyard and gives us a huge walk-in closet along with a fantastic master bathroom with the all

important, jetted tub and small water closet.

The Sun Room also continues the view of the backyard that goes out to a very nice deck.

I like the idea that the kitchen only has a Dining Room. We just don't need multiple places to eat.

All the rooms are spacious with lots of storage. LOTS of storage.

The area below the house is fantastic. Wow. There is no need for an additional building to store lawn equipment.

The attic is extremely nice, and again more storage space. It could be finished but it is doubtful we will do it.

There is much more, but I am sure you get the point....we love our new home on Cedar Pond Road



We already know there are things we will want to change about this house. As I have said so many times, no house is perfect unless you have it built. Every house we have lived in, we always seem to make changes to the house to make it our own. These changes only improves the homes livability for us.

Again, we would like to say a sincere Thank You. You have been great to work with and we are looking forward to continuing to work with you when we list our home on Hamby Road.

Christy made us feel comfortable. Any time we had questions she was quick to answer and if she didn't know the answer she would quickly get an answer for us. We felt that we could ask her anything about this process at anytime. There were several occasions that she and I were texting back and forth about a house in the evenings.
